February 10, 2016 - Owner Update

Dear Fellow Owners:

On February 5, 2016, we received written notice from Bret Marshall and Tony Mejia that they are resigning their positions, effective immediately, as Trustees of American Towers Owners Association. Subsequently, on February 8, 2016 the remaining Residential Trustees, in accordance with sections 4.10 and 4.11 of the Bylaws and by unanimous written consent, appointed Lance Williams to serve as Residential Trustee for the remaining term of Bret Marshall, and Melyn Campbell to serve as Residential Trustee for the remaining term of Tony Mejia.

On February 10, we received written notice from Paul Carpenter that he is resigning as Trustee of the Association, effective immediately. The remaining Residential Trustees together with the newly appointed Residential Trustees, also by unanimous written consent, appointed Dr. David Parker to serve as Trustee for the remaining term of Paul Carpenter.

We wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Bret, Tony and Paul for their tireless service. We welcome to the Board of Trustees Lance Williams, Melyn Campbell and Dr. David Parker. Lance has been serving as Chairman of the Rules Committee, on the Finance Committee and has been very helpful as an Owner rep in the redecorating project. Melyn Campbell has been a great benefit to the Association in serving on the Finance Committee for several years. We anticipate that Dr. David Parker's qualifications and experience in consulting with corporations and organizations in healing and creating productive organizational culture will be of great benefit to our own AT community.

We also announce that the proposed amendment to section 8.02 of the CC&R's has passed with a vote of 621.38. The consent forms have been turned over to our Certified Public Accountant to certify the vote total, after which it will be recorded with the County Recorder to take effect. The effect of this amendment is to allow the Association to install and maintain within Units new and future technologies such as high speed fiber optic internet by using third party providers. It also strengthens Owners' privacy rights by requiring prior "written notice" to Owners that was not previously required by the Association's existing access rights in section 8.02 of our CC&R's.

The Board of Trustees looks forward to working with you and greatly appreciates your continued support.

Sincerely,

Residential Board of Trustees
